OUR VISION

YOUR FREEDOM IS EVERYTHING. WE WILL FIGHT TO DEFEND IT.

Travis Kowitz is a dedicated and passionate advocate. He has extensive experience in a variety of criminal matters.

Surrounded by stellar mentors throughout his career, Travis has always respected and understood the value of personal freedom and the protections of the Constitution.

In law school, Travis participated as a certified student attorney with Rice County Attorney’s Office. This experience enhanced Travis’s knowledge of the opposition and how to best present a case to his adversaries. After graduation, Travis spent two years as a judicial law clerk in the Tenth Judicial District. There, Travis was able to gain experience in a variety of litigation matters including criminal, civil and family law.

His passion for Criminal Defense lead him to the Tenth District Public Defender's Office where he began his career as an Assistant Public Defender serving Chisago County. There, he gained extensive experience in serious felony cases.

Travis is dedicated to his work and is committed to defending the accused. He is tenacious and will not stop fighting for his clients until he achieves the best possible result in the case. He is not afraid of hard work and tirelessly investigates every aspect of the matter. His experience has taught him that things are not always as they appear and that the officer’s initial judgment never tells the whole story.

Travis understands that each client’s case is unique. Each person who seeks his counsel has individual concerns and goals regarding his or her case. He is committed to listening to these concerns and answering any questions. He works to create an individualized defense designed to achieve the best possible result in your case.
